Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of building new capabilities and pushing the boundaries of creativity. One particular achievement that fills me with pride is the creation of a state-of-the-art photo studio and content team. Picture a vibrant space buzzing with energy, where we brought together a diverse group of experts in photography, videography, stop motion, 3D imaging, and the latest advanced technologies. Together, we transformed ideas into stunning visual experiences that captured the hearts of audiences.

ASSOCIATE CREATIVE DIRECTOR OF TREND, PAID SOCIAL & IMMERSIVE CONTENT
ASSOCIATE CREATIVE DIRECTOR OF DATA, TECHNOLOGY & WEB 3
Walgreens, Chicago IL | 2023 - Present

• Established and operated a new team around paid social media. Oversaw $100m+ budget for paid media asset creation.
• Created new ways of working with production processes and review cycles built into a complex system based on a 4 week sprint.
• Stood up the new Walgreens Health website with 3 different agency groups including A11y, EY, and BoldWorld.
• Oversaw the design and implementation of the Walgreens blog built on AEM technologies and onboarded over 20 contactors and managed timelines and sprint cycles to our internal stakeholders and presented to C-level executives.
• Built a state of the art internal photo studio with a million dollar investment by partnering with the Real-estate and facilities teams to build out the space and purchased over $200k in top tier equipment.
• Operationalized teams by implementing the overseas systems initiative for cost reduction and speed efficiencies.
• Partnered with our media buying team to create regular, always-on and bespoke ad templates for revenue testing.
• Organized a series of educational resources and workshops to up-level internal resources across various departments
• Founded a new team based on web 3 technologies to chase down 3d asset pipelines and metaverse strategies.
• Partnered with our new store formats team to operationalize synthetic photography & photogrammetry across many departments and on-boarded vendors to assist with development.
• Enhanced internal studio capabilities and gear for virtual production readiness through a series of POCs that the internal team conducted with limited resourcing and evangelizing new capabilities.
• Lead the Walgreens metaverse taskforce and acquired land in various metaverses with alignment across legal, real-estate, finance, brand marketing, creative, and PR.

ART DIRECTOR OF CONTENT & STORY
Walgreens, Chicago IL | 2014 - 2022

• Co-founded the social & content team with a team of two people that we grew into over 30 full-time employees across 8 years.
• Developed the photography & videography style guides for Walgreens content and presented to several senior leadership teams on how we innovated the brand from of stock imagery.
• Created the official “Creators program” that develops Walgreens influencers on a tiered system that enabled quick content development outside the internal team’s bandwidth capabilities.
• Implemented and created the strategy for the official Walgreens YouTube and eventually operationalized the strategy with partnership from Google and Pixability to create a turn-key operation.

CREATIVE DIRECTOR
2Cimple Inc, Dallas TX | 2009 - Present

• Designed the official Dallas Cowboys Mobile App for 2011 that included cutting edge video wrapper technology that enabled fan engagement directly in the video with hot-spotting technology.
• Developed a new ticket buying experience for the Dallas Mavericks that leveraged panoramic photography and augmented reality to create a better buying journey for customers as they could see the seat’s view they were buying from the map.
• Created a gamified sustainability app built as a web 3.0 platform with blockchain and NFTs and presented directly to the CEO of T-Mobile and his C-level leaders during a Digi-day event in Bonn, Germany.

ASSISTANT GRAPHIC DESIGNER
EXPRESS, Columbus OH | 2013 - 2014

• Produced homepage and landing page designs that drove incremental sales through flash sales and BOGO offers.
• Created email designs for US and Canada on a weekly cadence that would look at YoY data and implement new strategies to drive better results.
• Executed special projects for express.com + mobile such as launching our new loyalty program ExpressNext through social media and emails in partnership with the loyalty & creative teams.
• Handled major partnership design experiences across all digital platforms
• Designed social media posts on all major platforms including the EXPLife blog.

Entrepreneurial

 

CTO
Wisher Vodka | 2020 - Present
Developed a gluten free, grain free vodka that was launched through the Metaverse in Decentraland. Developed our own NFTs, smart contracts as well as our own  shoppable metaverse hub for our community. Hosted over 100 Metaverse events  and 50 IRL events at various NFT events like NFT.NYC, NFT LA, and SXSW.

• Worked with the founding team to develop a unique product in the market targeting a growing gluten intolerant audience
• Pioneered a new web 3 click funnel in Decentraland to build the brand and gain awareness
• Implemented a 3D pipeline to create regular build outs and wearables for our customers
• Partnered with external developer resources to create a best in class NFT minting experience
• Worked with partners to create a state of the art metaverse social shopping experience

Em & Me Studio | 2020 - Present
Created a Pet & Party boutique brand that launched during the pandemic that targeted new pet parents and provided uniquely designed pet tags and accessories.

• Increased revenue by $100k in the year of 2021 through Facebook/Meta & Esty ad strategies
• Operationalized production & supply chains for automation and efficiencies

CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD
International Quidditch Association, New York NY | 2010 - 2014
Incorporated a 401(c)3 that promotes and governs the real-life sport of Quidditch &
facilitates competitive play through annual tournaments. Coordinated a worldwide
network of teams to organize civic events and lead outreach programs to increase
athletic participation among children and young adults with the aim of building and
improving local, national, and global communities.

• Helped students from 400+ schools form teams in 45 states and 12 countries
• Increased revenue by $100k in the year of 2011-2012 through partnerships
